    Voglio vedere quanti games farà Zeballos, l'uomo che è quasi arrivato nei top 50 giocando solo challengers.

    Il torneo lo vince uno tra Safin e Gasquet (che match sprecato al primo turno di questo torneo)

    Eeffettivamente, anche se non sono ai tuoi livelli, porto fortuna a certi giocatori quando li critico. A questo punto mi aspetto Zeballos vincitore.

    Marat prosegue la sua corsa battendo Istomin. A fermarlo nella corsa verso l'ultimo alloro ci sono Mr Challenger Zeballos, l'odioso Igor Kunitsyn, il super anonimo Victor Hanescu e il redivivo ucraino Sergyi Stakhovsky. Ora o mai più

    Purtroppo è finita. Stakhovsky batte Safin col punteggio di 64,46,64. Le ultime speranze di vederlo trionfare in un torneo svaniscono. Ora mi auguro che a Bercy abbia un buon primo turno. Se gli capita Federer viene fuori una sfida esplosiva e imperdibile, ma mi auguro che ci possa arrivare vincendo un paio di partite.

    E Zeballos vince ancora e va in finale. Io e il tennis non andiamo d'accordo: andatevi a rileggere la mia boriosa sentenza di lunedì. Dissi: voglio vedere quanti games farà Zeballos. Di games ne ha fatti e pure una caterva [SM=x1978640]

    E alla fine non completa il miracolo Mr Challenger Horacio Zeballos. Il torneo lo vince Stakhovsky (26 76 76), abituato a questo genere di acuti. L'ucraino ha annullato un M.P nel tie break del terzo.

    Quanto a me, questo torneo mi ha dato una certezza: se Grifo è la testa io sono la croce [SM=x1978640] . Nel senso che i giocatori che lui loda fanno una brutta fine, quelli che io critico ottengono grandi risultati (in proporzione al loro valore).
